“Kids exposed to mould as babies were three times more likely to develop the lung condition – Asthma”

This is according to the University of Cincinnati Academic Health Center, news release, Aug. 4, 2011

Exposure to mould in infancy greatly increases the risk of your child developing asthma. This is according to a recent study in which 7 years of data was collected from 176 children since infancy.

Black mould that is often not taken very seriously in a home can have potentially harmful health effects and implications for the ocuupants of the house, particularly if the occupants are infants or very young children.

It is therefore very important that a mould inspection and mould testing is conducted in order to address the problem and ensure that the mould removal is effective and does not pose a risk to health.
