Two Swiss researchers, Damiano Urbinello and Martin Roosli, set out to measure personal mobile phone radiation exposure during car, bus and train trips when one’s own phone was in standby mode. There were some interesting results due to the fact that electromagnetic radiation (EMR) or electromagnetic energy (EME) is more concentrated in metal modes of transport. Furthermore the fact that the mobile phones are constantly on the move means they check in too the nearest mobile phone base station or phone tower more frequently.
