Shielding or protecting against the electromagnetic energy ( EME) emitted from nearby phone towers and other transmission devices has been carried out in both residential and commercial buildings by ecolibria.

As Building Biologists we do not want electromagnetic radiation (EMR) exposure from pulsed signals to exceed 5 -10 microwatts per m2. This level is well below the Australian exposure standards based on thermal effects (heating of body tissue) but within much stricter international guidelines that consider biological health effects ( the effect on blood, cells, neurological functions etc.).
