Most air  particulates  (98.5%)  are between  0 -  1  micron in size and cannot be seen with the naked eye.

In order to get rid of the smallest of particulates (Ultra Fines below 0.1 micron in size) like viruses, cigarette smoke and diesel exhaust fumes it is necessary to incorporate highly specialised filtering mechanisms. Pre-Filter
Blocks larger particles in order to prolong the life of the HEPA filter.

HEPA Filter
Traps particles as small as 0.3 micron (human hair is approx. 70 -100 microns in diameter) + Activated Carbon sheet for dealing with odours and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's).

Ultra Violet Germicidal Lamps
Kills bacteria trapped in HEPA Filter, thus no unpleasant odours typical of devices without UV light.
Together with the Nano Photo-Catalytic Filter it is 300 times more efficient than the performance of activated carbon.

Nano Photocatalytic Filter
Decomposes harmful organic and non-organic pollutants and their components. The filter is self-cleaning and therefore does not need to be replaced.

Negative Ion Generator
Generates large amounts of negative ions like those that naturally occur in nature around oceans, waterfalls and thunderstorms.


Low Maintenance Costs

Pre Filter – Needs to be replaced every 6 months on average. However 6 replacement filters are provided with every unit when purchased. This means that no pre-filters need to be purchased for the first 3-5 years. Packs of 6 pre- filters cost $66.

HEPA and Activated Carbon Filter – Lasts 3-5 years on average and costs $88 to replace.

UV Lamps – Last around 8000 hours on average and cost $99 to replace.

The Nano Photocatalytic filter is self cleaning and therefore never needs to be replaced.
